, June 15, 2026: The 37th Sudarshan Sabha was successfully organized at the campus of Banaras Hindu University, celebrating India’s rich cultural, spiritual, and intellectual heritage. The grand event was jointly hosted by Parivartan Yogesh Sansthan, Maharshi Satya Sanatan Akhada, and Maharshi Satya Sanatan Hindi Vidyapeeth.

The prestigious gathering witnessed the participation of saints, scholars, litterateurs, artists, social workers, and distinguished personalities from across the country.
A major highlight of the event was the conferment of the Bharat Ratna Kashi Mahamana Award’ upon Dr. Anubha Pundir, founder of Raghukul Aryavart, educationist at Graphic Era Hill University, environmental advocate, and the driving force behind the widely recognized Jhola Abhiyan.

Dr. Pundir was honored for her outstanding contributions to society, education, culture, and environmental conservation. The ceremony turned emotional when the award was presented to her by her mother, Mrs. Veena Ji, receiving a standing ovation and thunderous applause from the audience.
For the past 14 years, Dr. Pundir has been leading the Jhola Abhiyan, a grassroots movement promoting awareness against single-use plastic while encouraging sustainable living, indigenous values, and environmental responsibility.
Known for her work in psychology, Indian scriptures, culture, personality development, and social awareness, Dr. Pundir has been actively bridging traditional Indian knowledge with contemporary social needs through lectures, writings, cultural initiatives, and public outreach programs.
The cultural segment of the event also captivated the audience, with children presenting classical dance performances, folk arts, and cultural showcases under Dr. Pundir’s guidance.
Dr. Pundir has previously received recognition on several national and international platforms. Her work has been appreciated through forums associated with the United Nations, the Karmaveer Awards, and TEDx platforms.
The Bharat Ratna Kashi Mahamana Award conferred in the holy city of Varanasi stands as a recognition of her sustained efforts toward social transformation, cultural preservation, and environmental awareness, inspiring countless individuals across the country.
