The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), during its first-ever press conference, raised serious concerns about the country’s education system and called for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The party also appealed to students and young people across the country to participate in a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Saturday.
Addressing the media, CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka alleged that recent incidents related to examination management and paper leaks had exposed the inefficiency of the Education Ministry and the existing system.
Ranka said, “The events of the past month have made it clear that the Education Ministry has failed in its responsibilities. We want people across the country to unite and demand the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan in one voice.”
The party also criticized the transfer of the CBSE Chairperson and Secretary, arguing that such actions were merely symbolic and did not address the root causes of the problem.
Chief spokesperson Saurabh Das said, “These transfers are nothing more than a showpiece action. In previous paper leak cases, the public was never informed about how many people were involved, what action was taken against them, or whether they were ever held accountable.”

Das further announced that CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke would arrive in Delhi on June 6 and participate in the proposed protest. According to the party, its members will visit Parliament Street Police Station to seek permission for a peaceful demonstration at Jantar Mantar, the designated protest site in the national capital.
“We invite people from all political backgrounds to join us without carrying any party banners because this issue concerns the youth of the country, not any particular political organization,” Das said.
When asked about funding for the protest, Das dismissed concerns over financial resources, stating that many young people were willing to join the movement voluntarily.
“Funding is not an issue. The youth have the courage and commitment to stand with us without any financial support,” he added.
The proposed demonstration is expected to focus on accountability in the education system, transparency in handling examination-related controversies, and the concerns of students and young aspirants across the country.
