Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulates SDRF personnel, says certification reflects operational efficiency, discipline and commitment to excellence in disaster management
Dehradun: Uttarakhand’s State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has achieved a significant milestone by receiving ISO 9001:2015 certification, prompting Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to congratulate the force’s officers and personnel for their commitment to quality, discipline and operational excellence.

Describing the achievement as a matter of pride for the state, Dhami said the certification reflects SDRF’s
efficient functioning, professional dedication and commitment to maintaining high standards in disaster management.
Highlighting the force’s critical role in a disaster-prone state like Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister said SDRF personnel play a vital role in saving lives and providing assistance to affected families during natural disasters and other emergencies. Their prompt response, courage and spirit of service under challenging conditions have become defining features of the force, he added.

Dhami said the ISO 9001:2015 certification recognises the organisation’s commitment to effective management systems, standardised procedures, quality performance and continuous improvement. He attributed the achievement to the hard work, dedication and teamwork of SDRF officers and personnel.
Expressing confidence in the force’s future performance, the Chief Minister said SDRF would continue to set new benchmarks in disaster response, rescue operations and emergency management.
He also emphasised that the state government is consistently working to modernise and strengthen Uttarakhand’s disaster management mechanism. The government’s priority, he said, is to minimise loss of life and property during disasters and ensure timely relief and assistance reach affected people.
Congratulating SDRF Commandant Arpan Yaduvanshi and all officers, personnel and associated staff, Dhami urged them to continue serving the people with the same dedication, alertness and commitment. He also extended his best wishes for their future endeavours.
