The Uttarakhand government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle by issuing transfer and fresh posting orders for six officers from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), State Civil Service, and Secretariat Service.
According to the official order, responsibilities in several important departments have been reassigned at the Secretary and Additional Secretary levels. IAS officer Vinod Kumar Suman has been given the additional charge of Project Director of the Uttarakhand Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Project (U-PREPARE).
IAS officer Saurabh Gaharwar has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Medical Health and Family Welfare Department. Meanwhile, IAS officer Dharna Kamdan has been assigned the responsibility of Additional Secretary, Drinking Water Department and Director, Swajal.
Similarly, IAS officer Prakash Chandra has been shifted from the Social Welfare Department and posted as Additional Secretary, Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department.
Among other changes, Sunder Lal Semwal has been entrusted with the responsibilities of Additional Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Managing Director of the Multipurpose Finance Development Corporation, and Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities.
Secretariat Service officer Vikram Singh Yadav has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Social Welfare, Minority Welfare, and Secretariat Administration Departments.
